Kissy-Mushie Websites Key to Future?
As if we needed any more proof that the present Baha'i administration operates a cult, their new search engine has been unveiled. It will lead the seeker only to approved web sites. It is named "Majnun" after the loco boyfriend of Layla, in Persian myth. It refuses to name itself after anything American. This is one more telling factor in Baha'i activity that spells "cult." The elite Baha'is of America demand that the little people slough off all vestiges of language, culture, civil rights and freedoms, and even the right to explore non-approved websites. Abstractly, of course, that right is theirs, but to mention having visited a non-approved site is to invite shunning. Who is approving these "approved" sites? By what right do they seek to limit freedom to explore the Internet? Is it censorship? Looks like it from here.
Some will say, they can use the Majnun site if they want to or not, it's not censorship. Again I will remind the reader that the Baha'i Faith in American today is a cult, even if its s most prominent leaders wear suits and went to college and came from Moslem countries. Any Baha'i wishing to exercise his Baha'i rights must weigh that righteous act against the cost he will incur if and when it comes up against a Baha'i administrator's ambition or guilt. (Baha'is at the bottom of the ladder are taught that ambition and wrongdoing are wrong, and they usually are free of them.) It should come as no surprise that a Baha'i administrator is a seed bed of paranoia. It is our experience that he or she will crush ruthlessly any attempt of an ordinary Baha'i to actually exercise his rights. Such exercise leads the community to witness that their emperors have no clothes; rather than living to uphold the righteousness of the Writings, Baha'i administrators plot and scheme to confuse the person and send them into excommunication. We watched it for 30 years.
Kissy-mushie Baha'i websites that lull the reader into believing he has reached Nirvana are living proof that the Baha'i Faith they would wish us to see does not exist. Heaven is where the pink clouds and waterfalls are; here on earth is, in the words of The Master, a "dung heap." Why do the Baha'is strive to make us believe that heaven is already here when their own Writings say it never will be? Why are they afraid of what the Baha'is will see? Why are they afraid of letting the Baha'is learn the modern history of their own faith? Why are they trying so hard to make everything safe?
Baha'i executives have learned that the children of the 'sixties and their children want to live in a world of idle fancies and vain imaginings. It is not easy to train your own mind to rational thought after having grown up on "My Favorite Maritain," "Howdy Doody," and Elmo, but if we don't we are sitting ducks for those ambitious souls whose chief delight and aim in life is to control our minds. Some may act from personal ambition, some may sincerely believe they are the appointed shepherds for the unfortunates (you and me). Either way, they are terrified of questions; questions are the solvent which loosens their grip on our minds. Questions keep our minds alive and strong, the way God made them to be.
Baha'is, ask questions! Never stop asking questions!

The idea behind a search engine such as this is not to tell Baha'is that these are the only sites Baha'is should visit. Rather it seems that the intention is to be a Baha'i specific search engine where someone can search Baha'i related sites that are approved (most likely by the Universal House of Justice), similar to a topic-specific wikipedia. A faith movement as young as the Baha'i faith has to maintain a certain level of control in order to avoid becoming corrupted as the Christian faith has become. If anyone with their opinions of the Baha'i faith was permitted to publish material as Baha'i fact without approval of the Baha'i authorities, then the faith would easily become divided into sects etc.
Like your webname?
Seriously, your brain appears to be well washed, and I would not ask a single thing of you.
But friend, it all turns on this: who decides what is authentic? And how much authority do you give your authenticity-master over your own God-given discenrment?
The Writings of Baha'u'llah and 'Abdu'l-Baha have been pretty well authenticated. What is the fuss? Why do the men and women holding positions of power in the Baha'i Faith urgently deem it necessary to put that authenticity aside and substitute their own?
The Baha'i Faith is a religion, not a scientific formula for the plastic in my radio. The Baha'i Faith grows in the heart, not in the pressurecooker which is the creation of a few power-mad Baha'is who cannot bear to open their HEARTS to God.
Case in point: Through whatever means, didn't Shoghi Effendi assume powers and perrogatives far, far beyond those bestowed upon Almighty God by His Own Self?
Baha'is are encouraged to wear blinders, to live in a fool's paradise when it comes to their religion. Unfortunately that self-imposed ignorance does not stop with one's religion but gradually extends into every other area of life which requires him to choose. To choose anything. He has been infanticized to regard himself as nothing and Baha'i Administration as God. Twisted!
The Faith IS divided, friend. It IS divided. It has robbed men of their right to choose. It has taken away man's God-given right to explore reality and investigate truth. American Baha'is would be the first to deny it, but their religion as they practice it is closer to present-day Islam, and growing closer every day.
Read aloud what you have written. Read it aloud and you will discover it is a load of bull. It is Party Line. There is not a truthful and scriptural thought in it.
Do not fool yourself. The Baha'i Faith is not some fragile hen's egg that must not be handled by man or examined by him. PResent-day Baha'i Administration would have you believe (and preach) that the Faith is a delicate thing dependent upon the guardianship of the Baha'is. Turn that around. The Baha'is are the humans, those of fleeting lives, and religion is a strong tree whose shade overshadows all on earth.
Who and what feeds the persistent message of fear? The Baha'i leaders! Once a Baha'i dares to read histroy, to think for himself, he is a free man. He does not turn away from God or His law but experiences the promised peace that "passeth understanding." He truly grows. This personal growth toward God is what the Admnistration fears. Free men question and investigate. Slaves do not. Read your history. Compare governments. Which are the most oppressive and why and what do they say about God?
Read the Writings! Think for yourself! Eventually your masters will expel you before you can expel yourself. It will be the happiest day of your life.
Too wordy, MrDonut. The point is HISTORICAL REVISIONISM. Every repressive government uses it, and every social group who would like to stretch a truth or a lie in a direction advantageous to itself practices it.
Revisionism. The bloodcurlding cry of Baha'i
Administrators, "CovenantBreakers!" is nothing but Administration trying to put a pretty gown on its own revisionism. The whole entirely un-Baha'i frenzy against "Covenant Breakers" is an artificial storm created to frighten Baha'is and undermine their self-confidence.
These so-called Covenant Breakers have preserved a history of the Faith that Haifa chooses not only to ignore but, through fear and intimidation, exterminate. Oh, the horror stories of Baha'is laying eyes on "Covenant Breaker" writings! They write to the House of Justice asking for healing and forgiveness. For reading a part of Baha'i history! Apologizing for having read not pornography, not private mail, but history! Begging nine rich old men for forgiveness!
The techniques used by Baha'i Administration use the most sophisticated brainwashing: fear, intimidation, ridicule, turning friend against friend, slander, denying access to personal information gathered for its "investigation," and so on. And it knows this generation of Americans is particularly susceptible to its methods. It's possibly the most intelligent cult on the planet.
Don't forget that word, Baha'i! REVISIONISM!
P.S. If you want to get out of the Baha'i Faith fast, just ask your Assistant Auxilary Board Member what it means. He won't wait to hear you out or read this blog or the comments. He will just open the gate and kick your arse OUT.
And you'll wonder why it took so long!
